While studying at National Chin-Yi University, we often hung out, played games, and exercised together with our friends from Palembang. We would cook together, look out for each other, and share both joys and struggles. The warmth of our friendship made us feel like family. That year was truly precious for us in Taiwan—it taught us the meaning of growing up and taking responsibility for ourselves.
We even worked part-time together at one point, still without any romantic feelings. It turns out we had already shared many moments together back then.

On April 8th, 2023, Iam confessed his feelings.
Tired of uncertain relationships, Ira said, “If you’re serious, call my mom tomorrow morning.”
And the next day, without hesitation, he called my mom to ask for her permission. From that moment, we committed to a serious relationship.
There was a funny and unexpected moment when Iam expressed his feelings—just the two of us know about it. That was where it all truly began.
